"True
charity is the desire to be useful to others without thought
of recompense."
- Emanuel Swedenborg
Mumbai, a place where people are too busy to even talk to their own neighbors, there are people who reach out to those in need. They strive hard to bring a change in this society without expecting any returns. Hope, sacrifice and inspiration make up their daily lives.

Mother! Wife! Housekeeper! So many roles. Yet so much discrimination.

There's an unending list of great charities and NGOs who have
been working relentlessly for the good cause. However with time
and resource constraints we had to choose 101 NGOs from Mumbai.
The list below by no means reflect any hierarchy over others that
have not been listed. This list has been prepared on first come
basis without any personal discrimination. We look forward to reach
out to more institutions globally in near future.
