Community Video Program:
MAM Movies, as a part of their ‘Seva Journal Project’ has initiated a program, which enables the creation of Independent Video Units within Non-Profit Organizations itself.
This would help Non-Profits create their own short films,
video presentations and other media projects without depending on outside
production houses.
How it works:
Organization
makes a request to set up their Video Unit.
Coordinators
of Seva Journal Team will meet the Non-profit and identify their needs.
Organization
buys their Audio Video Equipment.
Organization bears a small fee to cover the cost of the Video Co-ordinator.
Minimum 3
people are identified within the Organization who can run the Video Setup.
Media students
from various colleges are carefully selected to volunteer in setting up
the video units.
These students with a professional Video Co-ordinator from ‘Seva Journals’
would teach video production to the selected people from the Organization.
This would
slowly enable the Video Unit to become independent, producing videos to
make their programs more effective and extend their reach.
